D-Mac signed and is on the bus to TC

YEA! Finally news out of Windsor again (Geez I love this Dave Waddell guy, he gets all the scoops)- D Mac FINALLY signed a two way contract, for $575,000, one year.

Darren is strapped in and on the bus to Traverse City to hang out with Super Dave- ha, no. No no, Darrem McCarty is on the bus headed for training camp sillies! Sorry for the frivolity, but I’m so relieved about Mac Attack that I am as giddy as a school girl.

Then again, how many giddy school girls have you ever seen? What an weird analogy.

Anyhow….D-Mac has to earn his place on the team facing still competition from Darren Helm (whom I love!) and Downey and other young Wings hopefuls.

If DMac doesn’t make the roster after camp, he’d spend his season in Grand Rapids, making a salary of about $100k, and could still be called up on a game by game basis.

Who hoooo- all puzzle pieces in place- Bring on camp and the Pre-season already!
